Hey there, Kareem here! This is my first time writing a blog, so bear with me as I dive into this new adventure. It’s already been a year since I first started at Launchpad. Time really does fly when you’re immersed in something as exciting as teaching 3D creation. I’m thrilled to share what this experience has been like, especially given the chance to guide the next generation of students in the world of 3D.
When I first began, I could hardly imagine the journey that lay ahead. My role at Launchpad was to help students navigate the fascinating and intricate world of 3D modeling, a task that was both exhilarating and challenging.
At first, I was nervous. I didn’t think I had anything significant to teach them. But then I remembered that I had been through what they were experiencing right then, and I decided to use that to my advantage. I became friends with most of them, asking how they were doing at Launchpad and offering help outside of the program if they needed anything related to their 3D modeling projects.
Most of the students connected to me quickly. As a result, I was able to assist them more effectively, making their time with us more enjoyable and their projects easier to manage. Getting to know them better meant they felt more comfortable reaching out for help, and that open communication made all the difference.
Halfway through the program, I noticed that most of the Launchpad students had found their groove with 3D modeling. They knew what they were comfortable with, and by the time their work was being showcased, most were genuinely happy with their accomplishments. Each student's creation was unique, and it was a privilege to see their individual personalities and styles shine through their projects.
Some students were initially hesitant about creating 3D projects. However, once they saw the impressive work of their peers, they quickly became enthusiastic about diving into 3D creation themselves, eager to learn all they could about it. I can't wait to see what they create as they keep learning.
